About Me

I grew up in Vilnius, Lithuania, where I started out as a competitive basketball player. I represented the Lithuanian Junior National Team in several FIBA Championships, including a silver medal at the 2008 European Championship, before coming to the U.S. to play Division I basketball at Dartmouth. During college, my interests shifted toward computer vision and machine learning, and I moved from athletics into research. My background in sports still informs how I approach AI today, particularly in my work on skill learning and coaching.
