Overview
You can propose any project that involves self-supervision or self-supervised models to any computer vision area of interest to you. Projects should be completed in groups of two or three. If you want to pursue a project individually, please come talk to me before you do so. If you do not have access to GPUs, please contact me as well.
Project Proposal (10%) (Presentations on 09/19/22 & 09/21/22, Report Due 09/25/22)
You can use the following template to generate your proposal report. Your initial proposal should be about 2-4 pages and it should cover the following items:

The problem that you are trying to solve.

The motivation behind the problem.

Your proposed approach, and how it relates to prior work.

The experiments that you plan to conduct.

The datasets that you plan to use.
Project Milestone (10%) (Presentations on 10/24/22 & 10/26/22, Report Due 10/30/22)
You should extend your project proposal to include the following:

A preliminary set of results.

Your analysis of those results.
-
Additional experiments that you plan to run.
Final Presentation (20%) (Presentations on 11/28/22 & 11/30/22, Report Due 12/02/22)
You should extend your project milestone to include:

The final set of results.
-
Your analysis of those results.
-
Your overall conclusions and findings from the project.
